Hair surgeon, trichologist, aesthetic doctor and internist.

Dr. Joel Chara graduated in Medicine and Surgery in Peru in 2006. He obtained his degree homologation to the Spanish degree in 2008. With a purely vocational background, he specialized in Internal Medicine in 2009 at the Dr. Josep Trueta University Hospital of Girona. He has trained physicians in multiple specialties, becoming a leading expert in clinical ultrasound, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases.

Author of dozens of publications in prestigious medical research journals and co-author of medical books. He has been awarded two prizes, the most significant in 2020 for his research on the effectiveness of corticosteroids against Covid-19.

Specialized in Aesthetic Medicine from the University of Barcelona and the University of Cuyo, Argentina. She completed her specialization in hair micrografting at the University of Murcia and completed her training with hair restoration fellowships in Panama and Spain. Specialized in various hair transplant techniques such as Follicular Unit Excision (FUE), sapphire, DHI, Long Hair FUE, afro hair, gender reassignment, mega sessions, high density and repair of previous surgeries.

Currently part of the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine (SEME), Spanish Society of Internal Medicine (SEMI) and the Spanish Society of Hair Restoration (SERCAP), he is invited as a speaker to various national conferences and is a trainer of physicians and technicians at national and international levels.
